RFID Microchips are a evil thing to some, and some great things. They're chips implanted into your body which has all of your money, data, health, viruses, alcohol-blood levels, and more much. Does this seem controlling of your body? Well, the people at IBM are making this possible to be done and testing it to most people. Here's some Ads made to approve this Chip, I suggest 'Shift+Left Click' these links. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0gR5z...eature=related Here's one from Health Line as well. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UDhDr...eature=related This seems controlling of the Government? Yes, but some say this will end thugs and robbers, as their movement will be followed 24/7, thus seeing them get to the victim's belongings and steal. While this also end DUIs, or Driving Under the Influence, as alcohol will be measured with the chips sensing dizzyness in the movement, and blood stream levels. Well, my point is, what's your opinion on these RFID chips? Do you feel they're overwhelming? Or are they going to stop people from terrorizing our cities and towns with Big Brother next to them? Misc. Info about chipping children in a England school in their clothes/uniforms. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k9OIW...1&feature=fvwp FAQ Quote:

Yes I think the Idea could work to our advantages, but I see many problems occurring.

The government doesn't need microchips to control the masses, they already have religion.

It seems like an interesting idea. Just wondering, around how long do these chips last before breaking down? For example, if the chip broke down a year or two after use, it might allow people to break laws after the chip broke down with no one keeping track of them.
Also, how secure are these chips? Would it be possible a third party (Someone other than the government or the person with the chip) to obtain the information about someone else's chip?

I find it amazing for governments to use RFID chips as a GPS device. However, I feel that are some ups-and-downs when using this device.
A benefit of using an RFID chip is that officers can detect Americans who are kidnapped, lost, or abandoned. Other benefits may include crime reduction, probation identification for those who violate their probation, and robbery reduction. I do not find the use that RFID chips are that beneficial, except for the ones that I listed. I had a discussion with my friend about the use of RFID chips. We discussed how evil governments could be in the future. Although the government is in good standing by the way they set up our laws up today, it can get bad in the future. In other words, the government feels that they can manipulate humanity, since they already know that our minds are standard in a way that the mind cannot empower everything against the government. For instance, one customer may say, “I really need to buy this product because I am out of it.” Therefore, the customer will have no other choice to wear a tag from a human’s prospective; we will not realize the true philosophy behind the government’s idea of attaching an RFID chip on an individual. While this can be true, the government’s speculations are that it will become unlawful for a customer to enter a store without wearing a tag that includes an RFID chip, or the customer cannot buy what he or she want to buy. What the future law is doing is that the government wants to have a full control of what a person is personally doing, how they are acting, and so on. For instance, if the government sees that someone is ADHD, the government will most likely “force” the individual to go see a doctor, otherwise, it is illegal. At the end, the government can be so amazing in a way that they can force us to do just about anything by setting up laws in a way that it really is not amazing, as long as they can track us using the RFID chip. In my opinion, I find it unethical for governments to attach an RFID chip to a person in general, because this may affect most people’s privacy. Our privacy have been violated enough. After all, the law can have some limitations to where we can place an RFID chips, as long as it does not affect our privacy. The only way we can find out what the government is expecting out of us is to wait and find out until the theory of installing RFID chips comes into effect. By the way, this post is based on our discussion about humanity. Not all what is said in this post is actually true, but it could happen. By the way, when I am talking about future, I mean hundreds of years down the road.

It is more important than appearance, gift, or skill. It will make or break a company...a church...a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day...I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our attitudes. - Charles Swindoll |
